Jacob Siwicki

Jacob Siwicki was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at age 5. However, that didn’t deter him from being active in sports and fitness. He was very active in sports especially football and lacrosse growing up and did not let his diabetes slow him down.

He continued to excel in sports and in high school was the leader in rushing yards, touchdowns, and points as a senior at national powerhouse Dematha Catholic.  He was recruited by multiple universities and continued his career at Dartmouth.  After graduation, he continued to work in the fitness industry and is one of the top instructors nationally at several health clubs along with having his own fitness website and classes.

Jacob continues to live with diabetes but it hasn’t stopped him from pursuing his sports and fitness activities. He hopes his story is an inspiration to others with similar issues.
